A Bit About Me

As an Asian Christian mom of two from Northern VA, with experiences in both big cities and the
suburbs, I’ve navigated the challenging expectations stemming from diverse cultural, generational,
and societal influences. I’ve learned that being confined by limiting beliefs and labels can create a
narrative that leads to distress and isolation. I believe that openness, discipline, and compassion
within a safe space foster both acceptance and meaningful change.

I work with youth and adults struggling with issues like depression, anxiety, life transitions,
multicultural challenges, PTSD, relational difficulties, self-esteem, and identity. My goal is to help
you move past obstacles and tap into a broader capacity for joy, peace, and purpose.
Together, we can explore a variety of therapeutic approaches, including art therapy,
psychoeducation, person-centered cognitive behavioral therapy, faith, strengths-based therapy,
compassion-focused therapy, and solution-focused therapy. No prior art experience is
necessary—just an openness to express and explore.

The journey toward self-discovery can take many forms. With authenticity, creativity, and a safe
space for introspection, I’ll guide, walk alongside, or support you from behind as we navigate the
path together.
